The Level Best recently introduced their Velocity Pro line of
worsted billiard cloth. According to company spokesperson
David Devol, Velocity Pro sets a new standard for worsted
billiard cloth. “Billiard retailers understand the superior
quality and performance of worsted billiard cloth, but they are
nearly twice as expensive as woolen billiard cloth. Velocity Pro
offers the best of both. You get the performance and quality of

Velocity Pro is a 20 oz worsted cloth with an 86% Australian
wool and 14% nylon content. During the development process,
the company used a leading European worsted cloth as a
benchmark. “We had the leading European worsted cloth
tested at an accredited textile testing laboratory. Velocity Pro
compares very favorably to the European brand, except the
price is about 40% less.” states Mr. Devol.
